The Tennessee River Gorge

Comes the Rain
Comes the rain,
to kiss the river’s
stillness with circles
touching circles,
miracles falling
from a telling sky
to say, Here it is.
Here is your day,
blessed and given
to each who would
kiss and bless
their own.

Tennessee River Gorge in Black & White
View
this Collection
My soul filled shore to shore
as this river, smooth as glass,
reflected passion at my feet.
There are clouds in my river!
Clouds torn to shreds, moving fast,
lifting and racing overhead as I
watch them forming in the gorge...

Eclectic Work
View
this Collection
This collection includes odd shots, random opportunities,
chasing light and otherwise skewed views
of where I find myself, often trespassing.
It's in me to do.
I hope you enjoy them...

Like A Whisper
Like a whisper come alive
to hush the bridge and every living thing,
fog has erased all I knew before,
revealing the stillness of my soul.
Unable as the bridge to explain
whether I am coming or going,
all that passes here is the mist
of silent arrival and departure.
Oh, to be as free as this,
to drift upon the river
without direction or destination,
borne on a current of silvery whim.
